- 1 / 5By Doug McBrideWife and myself are new to the area and stopped in for a drink after dinner. Went to an open corner of the bar and waited for the bartender to come greet us. She came over and asked what we would like to have. When I asked what she had on tap she responded with a very snotty attitude, " We only have specialty beers". I told her that's what I like and asked her to tell me what they were since I could not read them from where I was. She acted completely annoyed that I asked her to do her job. She read them off facing away from me in a loud bar and I said I could not hear her but she ignored me after I told her I could not hear her. Luckily I heard one word "Porter" and said i will have that. The guy next to me had one and said it was good. After she served us she never returned and ignored us. Needless to say we left after one drink. We will not return here, there are plenty of other friendly bars with friendly bartenders in the area.
